UN anoints Wonder Woman its champion of gender equality

Wonder Woman actors Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot are on hand as the heroine’s named Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls. But not everyone supports the move

On Wonder Woman’s 75th birthday Friday, the iconic character got one heck of a present – being named the United Nations’ Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls.
